Felician Sisters
They are a joy-filled, apostolic congregation of women religious, the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Felix of Cantalice, known as the Felician Sisters—a Franciscan community inspired by the spiritual ideals of their Foundress Blessed Mary Angela Truszkowska and that of Saint Francis of Assisi. Consecrated to God through the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, they live in community, dedicating their lives to God and the Church —always striving to live and share the Gospel message through lives of prayer and service as they cooperate with Christ in the spiritual renewal of the world.
They follow the Rule of the Brothers and Sisters of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis, part of the worldwide Franciscan family. It is a vibrant community of Franciscan women who, in following the Franciscan rule, live lives of simplicity, humility, and service.
The Felician Sisters staff Pomona Catholic High School in Los Angeles.
